LM Whetton Lawn Solutions has successfully defended its title, taking out Best Gardener in the 2026 Best in the New England Awards for the second consecutive year.
The back-to-back victory reflects the strong reputation Luke Whetton has built across the New England for reliable, professional lawn and garden maintenance, with customers consistently praising his workmanship, attention to detail and commitment to leaving every property looking its best.
Many voters said reliability was one of the business’s greatest strengths.
“Reliable, professional, extremely friendly and easy to deal with,” Dimity said.
Simon agreed, describing the business as “very professional and reliable,” adding that “all work is of a high quality. No job is too small and pride in their work is of utmost importance.”
Others said Luke’s workmanship and meticulous approach were what set him apart.
“Luke is very competent in all aspects of the work he undertakes. He’s very tidy on completion of work and willing to travel,” Lyn said.
Bobby echoed those sentiments, saying Luke carried out “very professional work” and always ensured “the job is finished the first time.”
Georgia said Luke’s dedication was obvious in every project.
“Luke takes pride in delivering the best quality service he can,” she said.
The category also attracted nominations recognising outstanding private gardens, with Colin praising an “immaculately tended garden” featuring a “wonderful mix of plants and hedges”, while Helen described Kim’s work as having “a phenomenal eye for detail.”
Winning the title for a second straight year confirms the business has become a trusted name for lawn and garden care across the New England, with customers valuing not only the quality of the finished result but also Luke’s friendly service, reliability and pride in every job.
