Sherelle Fashions has cemented its place as one of the New England’s favourite shopping destinations, claiming the Best Fashion Store title for the second consecutive year in Best in the New England 2026.
The Tenterfield boutique successfully defended the title it won in 2025, with customers once again voting in large numbers for the family business they say offers far more than just clothing. Voters consistently praised the boutique’s personalised service, carefully selected range and the expertise of owner Sheree and her team in helping customers find the perfect outfit.
Many voters said the boutique’s success came down to the personal service that has kept generations of customers returning.
Kim said Sheree had an uncanny ability to know exactly what would suit each customer.
“I only go in there when I need something, and Sheree will find exactly what I need,” she said.
“She’s quite an amazing lady and seems to know the colour and style of what exactly suits you.”
Marie said that expertise had kept her coming back for decades.
“Both Sheree and Maree know their stuff. They know how to build relationships and trust with their customers,” she said.
“I’ve been a customer for over 35 years and remain a customer despite not living in Tenterfield. Their store is my go-to store whenever I visit the Northern Tablelands.”
Sharon described Sherelle Fashions as more than simply a retail store.
“Sherelle Fashions in Tenterfield is more than a shop, it’s a destination,” she said.
“People travel from near and far because they know they’ll be met with genuine warmth, honesty and exceptional service. Sherelle and her team go above and beyond to help every customer leave feeling confident and valued.”
Long-time customer Robyn said the store’s reputation had been built over many years of exceptional service.
“Their customer service is genuine, sincere and heartfelt. Nothing is too much trouble to assist a customer,” she said.
“I’ve been supporting Sheree and Maree for 30 years. Best shopping in Australia.”
Other voters praised the boutique’s extensive range of clothing, footwear and accessories for women of all ages and sizes, saying customers could find everything from everyday casual wear to formal outfits in one place. Many also highlighted the team’s willingness to source garments in different sizes or colours, their honest styling advice and the welcoming atmosphere that has made the store a destination for shoppers from across the New England and beyond.
After the win, the team at Sherelle Fashions thanked the community and expressed their appreciation for being “recognised for doing something that we love”.
“Thank you to all our customers and friends for voting for Sherelle Fashions again this year,” they said.
“We are feeling very proud and appreciative of your support.”
