Tenterfield’s Mum’s Cleaning Services has been recognised as the New England’s Best Cleaner in the 2026 Best in the New England awards, with customers praising the business’s meticulous attention to detail, professionalism and consistently high standards.
Although still a relatively new business, Mum’s Cleaning Services has quickly built a loyal client base stretching from the Queensland border south to Glen Innes. Owner Emily has earned a reputation for tackling the jobs others shy away from, whether it’s severe mould, years of built-up grime and scum, or the toughest end-of-lease bond cleans after nightmare tenants.
That willingness to take on the hardest cleaning challenges, combined with a commitment to quality, has clearly struck a chord with customers.
Darren said Emily’s commitment to excellence was unmatched.
“Emily’s eye for detail and professionalism is second to none,” he said.
“She runs a tight ship and her team is amazing.”
Del also highlighted the business’s exceptional standards, nominating Mum’s Cleaning Services for its “attention to detail” and consistently great service.
The business’s reputation has spread well beyond its own client base.
Jane admitted she doesn’t currently employ a cleaner herself, but said if she ever did there would only be one choice.
“I don’t have a cleaner myself, but if I got one, it would be Emily,” she said.
“She cleans my friend’s place and it’s just so clean. It makes me jealous.”
Being named Best Cleaner reflects the trust the business has earned across the region and recognises the high standard of service Emily and her team continue to provide to homes and businesses throughout the New England.
