Bingara has celebrated another Best in the New England success, with BW Welding & Mechanical Services taking out the Best Mechanic award after earning overwhelming support from customers across the region.
Voters praising the family-owned workshop for combining expert mechanical knowledge with genuine country service and a commitment to giving back to the local community.
Customers said the business had filled a vital gap for Bingara, providing reliable mechanical and welding services that meant locals no longer had to travel long distances for repairs, servicing and inspections.

Jo-Anna said owners Brad and Kelly were always willing to go the extra mile.
“Brad and Kelly always find time to work through a solution that not only gets the job done but gets you back on the road in no time at all,” she said.
“Community seems to be their focus and reason to be in business.”
Amy-lee said the workshop combined traditional customer service with outstanding technical expertise.
“From the moment you walk in, you’re treated like family, and it’s clear they genuinely care about their customers and the quality of their work,” she said.

Other voters echoed those sentiments, saying BW Welding & Mechanical Services had earned a reputation for honesty, reliability and always making time to help, whether it was an emergency repair, a routine service or simply offering practical advice. Many also praised the team’s willingness to support local organisations and employ local people, describing the business as a valuable asset to the Bingara community.
Ellie-May said the business had made life much easier for Bingara residents.
“The team are super friendly, very efficient and reasonable with their pricing,” she said.
“They do their very best to squeeze everyone in even though their books are full, and the beautiful family-owned business filled a massive gap when it came to our little town, making it so much easier for the elderly in our town to access a mechanic.”
