Wallace Construction Services has taken out the Best Builder title in the Best in the New England 2026, with voters praising the Armidale-based company for its craftsmanship, professionalism and reliability across projects large and small.
The win recognises a business that has become well known throughout Armidale and the wider New England for delivering high-quality residential and commercial construction, renovations, extensions, insurance repairs and restoration work. The company also specialises in the safe removal of asbestos and provides scissor lift hire, with a qualified local team servicing communities across the region.
Voters repeatedly highlighted not only the quality of the finished product but also the experience of dealing with the business from start to finish.
Lenore said it was the people behind the company who set it apart.
โFrom the super friendly office girls to Brett and his amazing team everyone is easy to deal with,โ she said.
โThey turn up when they say they will and are prompt with returning calls or emails. Their work is outstanding, not only with building houses but also the recently constructed parkland around the Monckton Aquatic Centre.”
Iain pointed to the companyโs ability to deliver quality results despite challenging conditions.
โThe project was completed on time in difficult circumstances and with impressive attention to detail in keeping with the design,โ he said.
But sometimes, it’s the little things that matter most.
“They are very clean and tidy when completing work,” Cheryl said.
Wallace Construction Services has built a reputation for tackling everything from custom homes and commercial developments through to complex restoration and insurance work, with an emphasis on completing projects on schedule and to a consistently high standard.
