Another back to back win: Darks retain Best Plumber

When something goes wrong with the plumbing, reliability matters. That’s exactly why Dark’s Plumbing has been crowned the New England’s Best Plumber for the second consecutive year.

Based in Walcha, the family business successfully defended its 2025 title after attracting another wave of support from customers who praised the team’s prompt service, professionalism and willingness to help, no matter the day or the hour.

For many voters, it was the consistency of the service that set Dark’s Plumbing apart.

“Great bunch of guys, prompt, polite and get the job done with attention to detail and skill,” Carol said. “Highly recommend Dark’s Plumbing.”

Brenda said the team was dependable when it mattered most.

“They are reliable and attend to your problem ASAP,” she said.

Reliability was the word that appeared time and again throughout the nominations.

“They always get the job done and are very reliable,” Petrina said, while Tim described the business as “fast, friendly and reliable” and Aps praised its “reliable, professional” service.

Others pointed to the lengths owner Adam Dark and his team go to for the community.

“Best plumbing. Great service. Weekends, public holidays, Christmas or Easter, Adam and the team will come fix the problem,” Arokiya said.

Customers also highlighted the team’s willingness to respond quickly whenever help is needed.

“A quick call and they’re at your place. A great bunch of guys who know their job,” Venetta said.

Donna said no job was ever too difficult.

“They always come to our side when help is needed. No job is too big or too small. For some of the crappy jobs they always do them with a smile.”

Michelle praised the business for delivering “absolutely best service”, while Amelia described the team as “reliable, quick, great team”.

For Alice, it was their attitude that stood out.

“They’re always willing and happy to help out. No job is too big.”

Sher said the team was “always punctual”, worked well alongside other trades and was consistently “friendly and efficient”.

Denise summed up the business in just three words: “Credibility, honesty, integrity.”

Lyn said the award reflected exactly what customers experience every day.

“They are a very nice group of men. Hard working, caring and obliging with all situations they have to deal with.”
