Across dozens of nominations, one message was repeated again and again – the staff don’t just serve customers, they genuinely care about them.

“They actually care about their customers,” Rachael said.

Susan agreed, saying the team makes every customer feel valued.

“Great, friendly, helpful team,” she said.

“They make you feel valued and heard and not just a number with dollar signs.”

That personal approach was one of the strongest themes throughout the voting.

Sheridan, who has used Mountview Pharmacy for many years, said the team consistently provided “great care, advice and compassion.”

Melissa praised the pharmacists for taking the time to listen.

“The pharmacists are happy to listen and explain any concerns about your medication,” she said.

“They’re the best pharmacy I have had.”

For Taylah, it is the willingness to spend time with customers that sets Mountview Pharmacy apart.

“Best service in the region,” she said.

“They actually care and will take as much time as you need to help you understand your condition.”

James said he had never experienced such personalised service anywhere else.

“Nothing is ever a problem,” he said.

“They take the time to discuss details with patients in depth, ensuring clarity and comfort.

“I have not been to another pharmacy where the pharmacist comes from behind the counter and walks me through the entire process and the reasons behind the health advice they’re giving.”

He also praised the pharmacy’s commitment to supporting the wider community through sponsorships, local events and backing other businesses.

That community focus was echoed by several voters.

Jenny said Mountview Pharmacy was always willing to go above and beyond while also playing an active role in the community.

Richard described the business as professional, reliable and community-focused, while Mary said its strong community engagement, inclusive workplace and supportive leadership made it worthy winners.

Knowledge and professionalism were also frequently highlighted.

Allan praised the team’s “impeccable” service and knowledgeable staff, while Aileen described the pharmacy as professional, helpful and always welcoming.

Robyn, a long-time customer, said the team consistently provided the best advice.

“You are always greeted with a smile,” she said.

“We’ve built a great relationship with them over many years.”

For Ben, one experience demonstrated exactly why Mountview Pharmacy deserves the recognition.

Petrified of needles, he said staff member Ky immediately put him at ease during his vaccination.

“She was absolutely amazing with me,” he said.

“Mountview Pharmacy is my family’s choice.”

Others said it was the customer-first culture that made the difference.

Maureen said every customer received personalised advice and assistance, whether collecting prescriptions or shopping in-store.

“Prescription medication is accompanied by personal advice from a pharmacist where necessary,” she said.

“This demonstrates a commitment to staff training as the essential building block of a customer-focused business.”
