The victory followed a hard-fought 3–2 win over Abbotsleigh in the semi-final the previous night.

PLC Armidale’s junior representative team also secured the championship, defeating Ascham 2–0 in the Grand Final.

The junior side progressed to the decider after recording a convincing 3–1 semi-final victory over NEGS.

PLC Armidale’s senior netball team also reached the semi-finals, where it was defeated 29–16 by Pymble.
