Tenterfield residents can breathe a sigh of relief, with Tenterfield Dam back at 100 per cent capacity and Level 2 water restrictions now lifted.
The restrictions were lifted for all connections to the Tenterfield reticulated water supply from Thursday, 29 October.
Recent rainfall across the catchment has delivered enough inflow to fill the dam.
Tenterfield Shire Council has now returned to Permanent Water Conservation Measures, and is urging everyone on the Tenterfield reticulated water supply to keep using water wisely.
Council also thanked residents and other users of the supply for their cooperation in cutting back their water use during the restrictions period.
