A man has been charged after police allegedly seized cannabis and more than $10,000 in cash during searches in northern NSW.
Officers attached to New England Police District, with assistance from the Dog Unit, executed search warrants at properties on Fernhill Road, Inverell, and Aberdeen Road, Stanborough, about 9:30 am on Tuesday.
Police allege they seized about 200g of cannabis and more than $10,000 in cash during the searches.
A 48-year-old man was arrested at the Inverell property and taken to Inverell Police Station, where he was charged with 12 counts of supplying a prohibited drug (less than a small quantity), one count of supplying a prohibited drug (more than a small quantity and less than an indictable quantity), possessing a prohibited drug, dealing with property suspected of being the proceeds of crime, and failing to have approved storage as the holder of a Category A or B firearms licence.
He was granted conditional bail to appear before Inverell Local Court on August 27.
Police will allege in court the man supplied drugs on multiple occasions between March and May.
