Inverell Barnyard has reclaimed the Best Pet Store crown in the Best in the New England, adding the 2026 title to the one it first won in 2024.
The locally owned independent business earned strong support from customers, who praised its knowledgeable staff, extensive range of products and commitment to helping pet owners find the right solutions for their animals.

“Their service is exceptional,” Joh wrote. “They go out of their way to help and they have a great range of products, always have what I need and their pricing is competitive.”
Alice said the team was “so informative and helpful” and maintained an impressive range of products, while Bronwyn described the staff as “very knowledgeable and very helpful”, adding that the shop was always tidy and its animals healthy.
The breadth of the store’s product range also featured prominently in nominations.
