Changed traffic conditions on Bloomfield Street, Gunnedah

Motorists are advised of changed traffic conditions on Bloomfield Street, Gunnedah, on Friday, 22 May, for maintenance work by Transport for NSW.

Bloomfield Street will be closed between Stanley Street and the Oxley Highway from 7am to 5pm, weather permitting.

Light vehicle motorists will be detoured via Stanley Street and Conadilly Street.

Heavy vehicles will be detoured via Conadilly Street, Abbotts Street, South Street and Warrabungle Street.

Vehicles travelling under permit must not travel off the approved route listed on the permit unless an updated permit is obtained from the National Heavy Vehicle Regulator.

Oversize and/or overmass (OSOM) vehicles must call ahead on UHF Channel 27 and will be directed through the site by traffic control as required.

Traffic control, including single-lane closures, alternating stop/slow conditions and a reduced speed limit of 40km/h, will be in place during the work.

Motorists are advised to allow extra travel time, drive to conditions and follow the directions of signs and traffic controllers.

The work includes test pits in the existing pavement and is expected to be completed in one day.
