Motorists are advised of changed overnight traffic conditions this week on Murray Street between Peel Street and Marius Street in Tamworth for maintenance work.
Tamworth Regional Council will carry out the work on behalf of Transport for NSW, including resurfacing.
To minimise impacts on motorists, work will be carried out from 7pm to 6am from Sunday 10 May to Monday 11 May. The work is expected to take two nights to complete, weather permitting.
Traffic control measures, including a single-lane closure, portable traffic lights with alternating stop/slow conditions and a reduced speed limit of 40km/h, will be in place to ensure the safety of workers and road users during the maintenance work.
Motorists are advised to drive to the conditions and follow the directions of signs and traffic controllers.
