“Transformational” future leaders bootcamp coming to Tamworth

A transformational leadership event aimed at developing the next generation of emotionally intelligent and influential leaders will be held in Tamworth later this month, with a one-day bootcamp promising a deep dive into the science of emotional fitness and multi-sensory influence.

The New England North West Future Leaders Bootcamp will take place on Wednesday, 30 July at The Pavilion Function and Conference Centre. The immersive full-day program will be led by renowned human behaviour expert Joe Pane and presented by Business NSW New England North West.

Combining neuroscience, psychology, and real-world practice, the event is designed for both emerging and experienced leaders looking to sharpen their skills in an increasingly complex world.

“This event is a celebration of how great leadership is already showing up in our region, and a call to develop even more of it,” said Diane Gray, Regional Director of Business NSW New England North West.

“We’re cultivating leadership that’s emotionally intelligent, values-driven, and grounded in the reality of regional business.”

Joe Pane, creator of the Emotional Fitness Formula™, will deliver two core sessions during the day, drawing on over 17 years of experience working with leaders, entrepreneurs, and change-makers. He will guide participants through the foundations of emotional resilience, values-based leadership, and multi-sensory influence using tone, energy, language and body language.

The morning session will open with a panel titled “Leading With Country: Courageous Conversations and Collaborative Leadership,” featuring speakers from Tamworth Regional Council, TACCO and the Mara Ngali Agreement. The discussion will highlight how cultural collaboration, trust, and shared leadership can drive inclusion and opportunity across the region.

After a networking lunch, the afternoon panel “More Than Just a WIN: Leading Culture That Works” will spotlight the leadership team from WIN Television. The case study will explore how humility and genuine connection underpin a values-based leadership style that’s building high-performing team culture and influencing the wider business community.

Pane’s sessions are built around helping attendees understand the six core human needs that drive behaviour and shape organisational dynamics. Participants will learn how to align personal values with workplace actions, manage uncertainty and pressure, and influence more effectively through presence and communication.

In a world where how leaders show up is as important as what they say, Pane says mastering emotional and sensory intelligence is no longer optional.

The event will conclude with informal networking drinks, giving attendees a chance to connect with peers, reflect on insights from the day, and build new relationships across the business community.

The event runs from 9am to 5pm, with registrations open from 8.30am. Tickets are available via 123tix, and early booking is recommended due to limited spaces.
