Cross Bros Butchery in Walcha has once again proven it’s a cut above the rest, narrowly beating last year’s winner’s Lennon’s Butchery, and fellow Inverell star No Bull Butchery, for the title of Best Butcher.
This marks the second year in a row the beloved local butchery has walked away from Best in the New England victorious, with them taking out the Best of the Best award for Quality in 2024. They’ve now cemented themselves as one of the most popular butchers not only for Walcha but across the wider New England region.
Owner and head butcher Jonathan Cross said, “We’re so very grateful for the support of the local community.”
“We keep it simple and try to really listen to what our customers want product-wise and so it’s really great to be recognised again this year.”
