Business leaders, investors and industry representatives will gather in Narrabri later this month to explore new investment opportunities and economic growth across the New England North West.
The New England North West Future Invest Forum 2026 will be held at The Crossing Theatre in Narrabri on Thursday, 22 October, bringing together government, business and industry leaders to discuss the partnerships, infrastructure and investment needed to support the regionโs future.
Hosted by Business NSW New England North West, with Narrabri Shire Council as major partner, the forum will focus on turning regional innovation and business potential into new jobs, investment and long-term economic opportunities.
The event, themed Innovation and Investment Shaping the New England North West, will examine opportunities to attract investment, strengthen industries and address infrastructure and workforce needs.
Business NSW New England North West regional director Stephanie Cameron said the forum would connect regional businesses and innovators with investors and key decision-makers.
โThe New England North West is rich in ideas, capability and opportunity. This Forum is about connecting that potential with the investors, markets and decision-makers who can help turn it into jobs, growth and lasting value for our communities,โ Cameron said.
โThis is not another talkfest. It is a focused conversation about what comes next โ where investment will come from, what infrastructure and workforce we need, and how regional innovation can become bankable, scalable opportunity.โ
The half-day program will feature keynote presentations, investment insights, a regional innovation showcase, a fireside discussion and a panel involving business, government and industry representatives.
Speakers will include Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development investment manager Karina Tyler, National Australia Bank small business banker Brendon Grosse, SierraTek Global managing director Jamie Condon and Bellevue Pastoral Company’s Thomas Eather.
Additional guest speakers are also expected to be announced.
Cameron said the region was already home to businesses and industries with significant growth potential.
โAcross our region, innovative businesses are solving big problems, established industries are evolving and bold new ideas are emerging. The opportunity now is to make those stories visible and connect them with the people and capital that can accelerate their growth.โ
Organisers are encouraging business owners, investors, government representatives and industry leaders from across the New England North West to attend.
The forum will run from 10.30am to 2pm on Thursday, 22 October, in the Riverside Room at The Crossing Theatre in Narrabri.
Tickets and further information are available through 123Tix.
