Police are appealing for information after an alleged break and enter at a home in Narrabri early this morning.
Emergency services were called to a property on Balonne Street about 5am on Friday, 31 July, following reports that two people had forced entry to a garage and searched through items inside.
Police allege the pair then attempted to open a door leading into the house before being disturbed by the home’s security system and fleeing.
A man, woman and infant were inside the home at the time. None was injured.
Officers from Oxley Police District attended the scene and carried out extensive patrols, but the alleged intruders were not found.
A crime scene was established and investigations are continuing.
