A man has died after a single-vehicle crash in the New England region overnight.
Emergency services were called to Elcombe Road at Bangheet, about 60km south-west of Warialda, about 11.25pm on Thursday following reports of a crash.
Officers attached to New England Police District attended and found a vehicle had left the road and rolled.
The driver, believed to be a man in his 70s, died at the scene. He has not yet been formally identified.
Police established a crime scene and have begun inquiries into the circumstances surrounding the crash.
A report will be prepared for the coroner.
