In a fictitious trial, 12 members of a jury must decide whether journalist Ian Bailey is guilty of the 1996 murder of French filmmaker Sophie Toscan Du Plantier. Based on real events, the film reconstructs, through the discussions between these 12 people, a case that ultimately invites the viewer to draw their own conclusions.
2.35pm – Mistura (Drama – 1 hr 37 min – Spanish)
A prejudiced Franco-Peruvian woman opens a restaurant after her husband leaves her for another woman. Through it, she falls in love with the gastronomic and cultural diversity of Peru during the prosperous but troubled Lima of 1965.
4.45pm – My Friend Eva (Romance – 1 hr 40 min – Spain)
Eva has just turned 50. She’s been married for over 20 years and has two, teenage children. So far, nothing remarkable. But on a business trip to Rome something happens that turns her life upside down. She meets Alex, a scriptwriter who’s spending a few days in the Italian city. The instant attraction she feels for him, the butterflies in her tummy, the seductive hint of possibility… After all this time, she remembers what it feels like to fall in love and it shifts something inside of her. It reignites a fire that had long been extinguished.
