An 83-year-old woman has died after being struck by a car on Manilla Road at Oxley Vale in Tamworth this morning.
Emergency services were called to Manilla Road about 9.40am on Monday, 28 September, after reports a woman had been hit by a car.
She could not be revived and died at the scene.
The driver of the car, an 83-year-old man, was taken to hospital for mandatory testing.
Officers from Oxley Police District established a crime scene and have started an investigation.
A report will be prepared for the coroner.
