Changed traffic conditions for Tamworth

Motorists are advised of changed traffic conditions on Whitehouse Lane, Marsden Park Road, O’Briens Lane and Nundle Road, near Tamworth, from Monday, 17 August, to Friday, 21 August.

The changed conditions are required to allow utility potholing investigations to be carried out at several locations along the route.

Work will be carried out in the road verge and shoulder and will involve temporary shoulder closures and reduced speed limits. All work and equipment will remain within the verge and shoulder.

Work will take place between 7am and 6pm, weather and site conditions permitting. No work will be carried out on Sundays or public holidays.

Traffic control, temporary shoulder closures and reduced speed limits will be in place for the safety of workers and motorists, including at the intersection of Whitehouse Lane and the New England Highway.

Motorists are advised to drive to the conditions and follow the directions of signs and traffic controllers.

Transport for NSW thanks motorists for their patience during this work.
