37 year old man dies in roll over at Duncans Creek

A man has died after a single-vehicle rollover south-east of Tamworth on Saturday.

Emergency services were called to Duncans Creek Road at Duncans Creek, about 45 kilometres south-east of Tamworth near Chaffey Dam, about 11.15am on Saturday 30 May 2026 following reports of a crash.

Police have been told a passing motorist discovered the crashed vehicle and contacted emergency services.

Officers attached to Oxley Police District attended the scene and found the vehicle had rolled.

The driver and sole occupant, a 37-year-old man, is believed to have died on impact.

A crime scene was established as police began investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.

A report will be prepared for the Coroner.

As investigations continue, police are appealing for anyone with information about the incident, or anyone who may have dashcam or mobile phone footage from the area around the time of the crash, to contact Tamworth Police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
