The Melbourne International Comedy Festival Roadshow is heading to Moree on 6 May, with the show set to take place at the newly reopened Moree Memorial Hall.
Comedians Suren Jayemanne (host), Annie Boyle, David Quirk, Nathan Chin and Sez will perform as part of what is described as the largest stand-alone comedy festival and the largest international comedy festival in the world.
The annual tour from Melbourne to regional centres brings live comedy to the Moree Plains, with this year’s event marking a return to the refurbished hall.
“We are excited to welcome the Melbourne International Comedy Festival Roadshow back to Moree. This time in the newly renovated Moree Memorial Hall. The community will get to enjoy a live show on the brand new stage, while experiencing the impressive upgrades to the hall’s sound and audio systems,” said General Manager Natalia Cowley.
For almost three decades, the Melbourne International Comedy Festival has toured across Australia, delivering live performances to metropolitan and regional audiences alike.
Doors open at 7pm, with the show commencing at 7.30pm.
Tickets are $35. The performance runs for approximately two hours, including a 20-minute interval.
