Gunnedah is set to come alive this evening (Monday, August 18), as Club Gunnedah hosts NightQuip on the Green- a vibrant twilight event celebrating local talent, creativity, and connection.
From 5.30pm this evening, live music and art workshops to market stalls and barefoot bowls under the stars will take over Club Gunnedah.
Organisers say this free community event offers something for everyone, and locals are invited to live it up with friends and family for an evening of relaxed fun and regional pride.
“NightQuip on the Green is all about celebrating Gunnedah’s creative spirit and bringing people together in a relaxed, welcoming space,”s aid Tammey McAllan, Club Gunnedah Marketing Manager.
“It’s a chance to enjoy great music, support local makers, and connect with the community.”

“Club Gunnedah offers the perfect space to revive the event – with fresh energy and a new twist on a beloved tradition.”
Event features include live performances from local musicians, setting the tone for a festive night, Pop-up paint and sip still life workshop, open to all ages and skill levels, market stalls featuring handmade goods, local produce, and artisan wares, and barefoot bowls, with friendly games and plenty of laughs on the green.
“I’m so excited to facilitate the NightQuip Pop Up Paint and Sip!” said Fonda Rowland, Creative Director Fonda Shae.
“We wanted to create something interactive and inspiring, where people can roll up their sleeves, get messy, and make something beautiful.
“The still life workshops are all about celebrating local talent and giving everyone a chance to join in,” she said.
The event is not just a good time, it help contribute to the broader economic boom that surrounds AgQuip.
“Markets, art, and music aren’t just cultural experiences; they’re catalysts for local employment,” said Kate McGrath, Local Jobs Program Job Coordinator.
“For market stallholders, performers, and creatives, these events open doors to showcase their skills, earn income, and build lasting connections within the community.”
Entry is free, and food and drinks will be available for purchase.
