Jack & Jill Preschool, in Inverell and operated by Inverell District Family Services (IDFS), has been beaten over 30 different childcare services nominated from around the region to take out the title of Best Childcare in Best in the New England 2025.
Jack & Jill Preschool delivers a preschool program tailored for children aged 3 to 5 years, emphasising safety, security, and supportive nurturing environments to foster each child’s full potential. The accolade recognises the centre’s outstanding commitment to high-quality early childhood education and care.
Thanking their votes on Facebook, Jack and Jill Preschool said, “To our beautiful families and community… we are incredibly honoured and grateful to share that Jack and Jill Preschool has been named the 2025 Winner for Best Childcare in the New England.”
“Your heartfelt nominations, kind words and votes have meant the world to us.”
“This recognition is a reflection of our beautiful relationships with our children, partnerships with our families and our strong supportive community. We are thankful every day for your continued trust in us to care for, nurture and educate your children each day.”
Jack & Jill Preschool has built a reputation for its innovative educational approach and supportive environment. The educators at the centre actively engage in professional development—particularly around new research on emotional regulation, anxiety resilience, and foundational wellbeing in early childhood. These efforts are reflected in intentional teaching practices that support children’s emotional and social development alongside academic readiness.
It’s clear that this sense of belonging and commitment to the community of Inverell is what makes it so loved by the families whose children attend the Centre.
Noah said, “Jack and Jill Preschool Inverell isn’t just a preschool — it’s a place where children feel safe, supported, and genuinely loved every single day.”
“Jack and Jill Preschool is considered the best because it offers the perfect balance of nurturing care, early learning, and joyful discovery. Children feel safe, supported, and valued from the moment they walk through the door. The preschool feels like a second home full of comfort, trust, and kindness,” said Poppy.
“All my kids have loved going there, they come home with smiles. The girls who work there are all super lovely and helpful and fantastic with the kids. Have never had any issues,” said Stacey.
The centre is part of IDFS, the largest not-for-profit community provider of early education services in the North West and New England region of NSW. Their Baby Sprouts Centre also received a high number of votes in yesterday’s voting.
