Over 2100 homes and businesses in Gunnedah will soon be able to upgrade to full fibre under via nbn Fibre to the Premises.
nbnโs delivery partner, Downer, will soon be in the area undertaking works as part of nbnโs national fibre upgrade program, including parts of Gunnedah that are currently on fibre to the node technology. The work will continue throughout the remainder of the year.

With the recent announcement of speed boosts for higher tier plans and the introduction of multi-gigabit speeds from September 2025, thereโs never been a better time to consider upgrading to nbn fibre.
Head of nbn Local NSW Tom OโDea says the upgrades deliver a better, and more reliable internet experience for homes and businesses.

Selected premises with fibre to the curb technology will also be able to upgrade to full fibre if they order an eligible plan.
