Mother, wife, business owner and an all around amazing woman. If you need any inspiration for this year’s International Women’s day, you need to meet Tamworth’s Sarah Hooper.

Every day is different in the Hooper household, with four adventurous kids- James, Johnny, Tommy and Georgie, and a supportive husband, Drew, Sarah is constantly kept on her toes and taking it in her stride and doing it with grace.

But it’s not just all at home. Sarah is kicking goals professionally as she builds her small business, Tajoh & GG.

“I feel very honoured to be recognised as an amazing woman in our community, makes all the hard work feel so worthwhile and gives me the motivation to continue growing my small business to bring quality products to my customers.” said Sarah.

“I am a qualified jeweller (which I still do 2 days per week) and run an online baby and kids store, sourcing beautiful boutique clothing for babies and kids, nursery decor, homewares, handmade earrings, kids instruments and sensory toys and much more.”

“Everything I do is to give our kids the best life they can possibly have! My husband and I work very hard in the hopes that it will set a good example for our kids to one day have the same work ethic and motivation for their families.”

Sarah sets a positive example for all women; raising families, building businesses, surviving this crazy journey we call life, and uplifting others along the way.

“In my eyes there are so many amazing women out there, doing exactly as I am doing, supporting each other in their small businesses wherever possible and juggling family time, school, work & sport.” said Sarah.

“An amazing woman has the ability to make all of these things work no matter how hard the struggle might feel some weeks.”
