Tamworth Country Music Parade entries open for 2027

Tamworth’s biggest street party has a new theme, and the call is out for artists, businesses, community groups, and performers to bring it to life.

Country Music Icons is the theme for the 2027 Country Music Parade, and entries are now open for artists, businesses, community groups, performers, and more. The parade is on Saturday, 23 January, and organisers say it is a chance to showcase your creativity to thousands of fans.

It is one of the Tamworth Country Music Festival’s most-loved traditions, and the biggest street parade celebration of the festival. Entries can be lodged online at https://www.tamworth.nsw.gov.au/about/forms/2027-tamworth-country-music-festival-country-music-parade-entry-form

Festival organisers are also urging fans to start planning early for the 2027 festival.

The Tooheys Country Pub Experience at Toyota Park offers the ultimate festival upgrade. Guests can enjoy live entertainment from undercover seating, with access to the only licensed area in the park. Tickets are limited.

Getting around Tamworth during the festival is easier with the Festival Express, which connects key festival venues across the city. Organisers say it is an accessible way to skip the traffic and spend more time enjoying the music.

Tickets are on sale now for the Toyota Golden Guitar Awards, the night that celebrates the best of Australian country music with live performances and the industry’s most prestigious honours.

The What’s On guide on the festival website lists hundreds of events, from headline concerts and busking to family-friendly entertainment. The Official Guide can be pre-ordered, and has venue information, artist listings, concerts, maps, bus routes, daily schedules, and an A to Z directory.

Visitors can also book camping and accommodation through the festival website. Options include hotels, motels, self-contained apartments, Airbnb stays, and camping or caravan sites close to the action.
