A 57-year-old man has died following a single-vehicle crash at Pilliga in the state’s west.
Emergency services were called to Mission Lane shortly after 12:20pm on Saturday following reports of a crash.
Officers from Oxley Police District arrived to find the 57-year-old man on the road with serious head injuries. A rolled white ute was located nearby.
NSW Ambulance paramedics treated the man at the scene before he was airlifted to Tamworth Hospital, where he later died.
Police established a crime scene and have launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash and the man’s death.
The ute has been seized for forensic examination.
A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
