Award-winning country rock band The Wolfe Brothers will return to the New England region as part of their newly announced Australian Made national tour, marking the end of an 18-month break from headline touring.
The tour follows the band’s acclaimed 2023–24 Livin’ The Dream tour, which was named Australian Tour of the Year at the inaugural Countrytown Awards in 2025, and celebrates the success of their latest album, Australian Made.
New England country music fans will have the opportunity to catch the Tasmanian brothers live when they perform at Tamworth Town Hall on 20 August, one of a series of regional shows across Australia.
The tour comes after a milestone period for the group. Their album Australian Made debuted at No. 1 on both the ARIA Australian Albums Chart and the ARIA Australian Country Albums Chart and helped secure five Golden Guitars at the 2026 Australian Country Music Awards, taking their career tally to 15.
Since first coming to national attention on Australia’s Got Talent in 2012, Tom and Nick Wolfe have become one of Australia’s most successful country acts, earning induction into both the Galaxy of Stars and the Country Music Hands of Fame.
Tom Wolfe said the album was inspired by the people and places that shaped the band.
“The Australian Made concept really came from looking around at our lives and the people we grew up with. It’s a reflection of where we are from, the stories, the landscapes, the proud communities and the spirit of Australia. We wanted to make a record that felt honest, a record we would be proud of, without overthinking it.”
Nick Wolfe said returning to the stage remained the highlight of the job.
“Those couple of hours on stage is where we feel most alive. We don’t take for granted that most people never get to experience playing to a crowd that has lived the songs you have written and sings them back to you. There is no greater feeling.”
The Tamworth show will feature special guest Abbie Ferris and forms part of a broader tour that will continue throughout 2026 and into 2027.
