Warialda community invited to meet AKF Koala All Rounder during local visit

The Australian Koala Foundation (AKF) is inviting the Warialda community to meet its Koala All Rounder, Sarah, during her visit to the Warialda Save the Koala Gift Shop on 8–9 June.

The visit highlights the important role regional communities such as Warialda play in protecting koala habitat and supporting conservation efforts across New South Wales.

Sarah will spend time with the local AKF team and community members, sharing insights into koala conservation, habitat protection and the Foundation’s ongoing work to safeguard the future of the species.

The Warialda Save the Koala Gift Shop has become a valued local attraction, showcasing a range of unique products celebrating koalas and other native Australian wildlife. The shop provides residents and visitors with an opportunity to support conservation while learning more about the region’s natural environment.

Community members visiting the shop can also take advantage of the AKF end-of-financial-year sale, with discounts of up to 75 per cent available online and in-store until 30 June.
