The hands-on session will guide participants through the full grant writing process, with a focus on developing strong project ideas that benefit the local community. Attendees will also gain practical insights and proven techniques to improve their chances of securing funding.

Topics will include:

  • evaluation
  • methodology
  • planning grant applications
  • grant terminology
  • acquittal of grants
  • practical grant writing tips
  • examples of public and private sector grants
  • sustainability of grant applications
  • community capacity building

By the end of the session, participants will have a clear understanding of the grant writing process and how to apply it to initiatives that support Inverell and its residents.

Tea, coffee and a light supper will be provided.
