Telecommunications experts axxis will host a grand opening for their Armidale store on Saturday 14 June.
The opening will mark the third in a string of recent acquisitions for the Telstra-partnered organisation, with openings held in Mudgee and Narrabri earlier this year.
Founder of axxis Mathew Dickerson, says the feedback they’ve received from customers across the region thus far has been extremely positive.
“The biggest feedback we’re getting so far is that people love our customer service, they love being able to just walk in the door and talk to someone,” he said.
“This is something we really like to focus on with our team – the ability to provide a holistic service – making sure we’re talking to our customers and solving their problems to ensure they’re getting the most out of their phone service and their technology.
The Armidale store, which is located with in Armidale Central shopping centre is expected to officially open with much fanfare next weekend.
“We had around 280 attendees for our Narrabri opening, and 350 for Mudgee and we’re expecting at least 500 to come along on the 14th for Armidale,” said Mr Dickerson.
“And it’s going to be a great day – we’ve got Dr Karl coming who’ll be doing book signings and a live Q & A, as well as a magician providing roaming entertainment and an absolute heap of prizes to be won.”
With nearly $15,000 worth of prizes up for grabs on the day, almost no one will walk away empty handed.
“The first 50 through the door will get a copy of Dr Karl’s book, then we have two separate Spin-to-Win hubs and then finally we’ll have our major lucky door prize which will be drawn at the ribbon cutting at 10.30am where one lucky winner gets a new Samsung Tablet,” said Mr Dickerson.
There will also be Telstra executives and a number of supplier reps on hand on the day to answer all your burning questions.
“This isn’t a day that’s about sales for us; it’s a celebration of our store and getting our name out there in the community and most of all it’s great fun!”
The grand opening will commence at 9am, with Dr Karl expected to be on-site from approx. 9am – 1.30pm.
