The NarraBRIGHT festival is on again in March, bringing the town’s main street to life.

In its third year, Narrabri’s main street will fill with light, colour, music, entertainment, kid’s activities, late-night shopping, food, art installations and workshops to celebrate and shine a light on our vibrant community, CBD and businesses.

Building on previous years, this year’s event will also feature building projection art from renowned Australian projection company, Illuminart, the same company who did the Quirindi Silo Art’s popular light show.

There will also be a sensory garden this year: an immersive and magical multisensory experience for people of all ages and abilities. The large-scale, immersive multisensory installation is designed by Dr Bliss Cavanagh who does sensory spaces based in science that offer therapeutic benefits and support wellbeing.

There will also be neon art by Melbourne artist Carla O’Brien, and a team of professional artists will create a trail of mend-bending 3D illusions over 3 days in key locations through Maitland Street.

There’s also plenty of kids activities, including a drama and play kids zone, a VR gaming zone, facepainting, and a 3D chalk workshop.

Bus services will run from Boggabri, Baan Baa, Pilliga, and Wee Waa to enable surrounding communities to easily attend the event.

NarraBRIGHT will be held in Maitland Street Narrabri on Friday, 17 March 2023, from 6.00 to 10.00pm. For more information on Narrabright 2023, contact Council on 02 6799 6866.
