Indigenous Australian message sticks analysed for first time at scale using a new database

A new online database of over 1500 Aboriginal message sticks has just launched to the public as part of a project to bring these unique artifacts together in one (virtual) place where they can be readily viewed and analysed. Hear what Dr Piers Kelly at the University of New England, Armidale has to say.
