Anniversary of the annual commemoration at the Myall Creek Memorial site

9:00 am start at the Myall Creek Hall for morning tea, Reserve Creek Road (off Bingara-Delungra Road), then proceed to the Memorial site at 10:30 am (corner Bingara-Delungra Road and Whitlow Road. Lunch at the Myall Creek Hall available for purchase (cash only). The Memorial commemorates the 28 Wirrayaraay people who were killed in an infamous massacre of 1838, at Myall Creek Station, near Bingara in northwest NSW. The event and its aftermath were pivotal in the history of criminal law in colonial NSW and remain a touchstone for truth-telling in history. For more detail:www.myallcreek.org
