Police are appealing for information after a man was shot multiple times with a nail gun during a robbery at a Tamworth property on Saturday night.
Emergency services were called to a home on Goonoo Goonoo Road shortly before 11pm on Saturday, 20 June, where they found a man in his 40s with nail gun wounds to his face, chest and hand.
He was taken to Tamworth Hospital by ambulance and treated for a fractured skull, lacerations to his head and puncture wounds.
Police were told a group of people stole cash from the man during the incident.
Following inquiries, detectives executed a search warrant at a unit on Anne Street, South Tamworth, shortly before midday on Monday, 22 June, seizing nail strips for a nail gun and electronic devices.
