Farm Table launches new digital hub for Australian Agriculture

Farm Table has officially launched FarmTable.TV, a dedicated national platform bringing together podcasts, video content and storytelling from across Australian agriculture and regional communities.

Positioned as a central home for agricultural audio and digital storytelling, FarmTable.TV is not a single show or personality. Instead, it is a curated, independent network of creators, industry experts, technical voices and rural storytellers designed to amplify trusted agricultural voices and provide a central place where the sector can listen, learn and connect.

Gillian Fennell, Storytelling & Strategy Specialist at Farm Table and host of the launch event in Melbourne this week, said the platform was built in response to a clear gap in how agricultural stories are shared and discovered.

“FarmTable.TV is where Australian agriculture listens,” Ms Fennell said.

“It’s built by people in the industry, for people in the industry, a place where producers, agribusiness, researchers and regional communities can find authoritative voices, practical knowledge and real stories that reflect their lives.”

At a time when traditional agricultural media is consolidating and mainstream coverage often lacks nuance, FarmTable.TV is focused on depth, credibility and long term value rather than short cycle headlines.

Agriculture podcasts and digital audio have grown significantly in recent years, with long hours in the ute or on the tractor creating a captive and highly engaged audience. From producer led discussions and market analysis to rural storytelling and technical deep dives, audio has become an increasingly influential format for the sector.

FarmTable.TV has been built to support that shift, providing targeted distribution and amplification, advertising and sponsorship opportunities aligned to agricultural audiences, multi channel promotion across Farm Table’s national network, and editorial independence supported by transparent governance.

Leveraging Farm Table’s established footprint, including more than 10,000 subscribers, 20,000 social media followers and thousands of monthly website visitors, the platform is positioned as a powerful distribution engine for agricultural content.

One of the first to lock in their involvement with farmtable.tv is the podcast Catch My Drift, hosted by Greeny, Nashy, Nev and Sam. The show takes a not so serious look at some of the issues facing Australian agriculture, blending humour with practical discussion, and has a number of guests from around central west NSW.

Managing Director of Farm Table, Rob Jennings, said the platform reflects a broader shift in how agricultural audiences consume information.

“Our industry is increasingly listening on the move -in utes, tractors and offices – and we need trusted digital spaces that reflect that reality,” Mr Jennings said.

“FarmTable.TV offers connection over clickbait and substance over headlines. It gives agricultural creators and organisations a national platform with reach, structure and credibility.”
