Get your taste buds ready New England, Eat Street is returning to Tenterfield tonight.
Celebrating its fourth year in a new location, Eat Street is ready to serve up a night for everyone says organiser, Kerri Hampton.
“The lack of food in Tenterfield has always been an issue, we felt the need to get Eat Street going and to provide that social outing for people more regularly.”
Kicking off at 5pm Friday, March 3rd, Eat Street Tenterfield will feature live music, several food vans including pizza, pasta, dumplings, pies and more.
“We have a small animal farm coming on the night for the kids. We figured if the kids are happy, the parents are happy. A bit of entertainment and even a donut eating competition and local artist, Mitch, is performing.” Said Ms Hampton.
The new location at 148 Manners Street brings the food closer to town. A benefit to all.
“Location is critical. Flat, sheltered and being able to walk to the CBD. We knew their would be spin off for other businesses, so that’s why having it behind Bad Manners is the ideal location.”
Come down and show your support for another great event in the New England.
“The more people support it, the more we keep doing it and its as simple as that, we need local support. If people want more change, we need to support it.
“Tenterfield is being a weekend destination town. It’s our time to shine.” said Ms Hampton.
