Exhibition: Overhead and Underneath – Lessons in Observation

Taking the time to look overhead or underneath your feet can be a centring experience that makes one appreciate that exact moment in time.
Using the artist response to naturalistic observation we generate an exhibition that is threefold:
This exhibition engaged 24 regionally based artists from Kamilaroi Gamilaroi Gomeroi • New England and North West
Our program will provide the opportunity for skill exchange and meaningful observation. This project will includes opportunities for mediation including sound healing and yoga sessions for wider audiences to participate.
To complement the exhibition theme, we have selected twelve artists/ workshop facilitators from the south of the state and twelve artists/ workshop facilitators from the north of the state. Artists from the inland cities of Albury in the south and Tamworth in the north have been selected to compare and contrast these observations.
