Dungowan Day Out

One of the New England favourite boutique events is back, and this year it’s doubling the fun. Dungowan Day Out will return in August for not one but two big days of live music, local flavours and laid-back country vibes.

Mark your calendar for Saturday 23 August and Sunday 24 August, when the Dungowan Brewery will transform into a celebration of everything that makes our region special — homegrown musical talent, mouth-watering food, craft beer and award-winning local distillers.

This year, the entertainment line-up shines a spotlight on female musical talent from across the region. Expect soulful sounds from rising stars out of Gunnedah and Quirindi, with Tamworth’s own Ashleigh Dallas setting the tone before ARIA-nominated country rock powerhouse Jayne Denham closes the show in spectacular fashion.

Pair this with a curated food and drink experience featuring hand-picked food trucks, craft beers, warming winter meals, and small-batch spirits. New for 2025 is a Prosecco and Gin Bar, showcasing local distillers and letting you toast the onset of Spring.

General Admission tickets include guaranteed outdoor seating, your choice of gourmet meal, and return coach transfers from Tamworth. Early bird discounts apply to the first 200 tickets sold each day.

For those chasing something a little extra, the Highland Experience offers VIP and Reserve seating, full table service, a welcome drink, return transfers, and more.
