Inverell Shire Council appoints New Director

Inverell Shire Council has confirmed the appointment of a new Director to join Council’s Senior Management Team.

Mr Greg Doman has been appointed as Director Environmental Services.

The exhaustive recruitment process concluded this week following the short list of candidates being interviewed. Council engaged recruitment specialists LG Services Group to assist in sourcing the best candidates.

The new position attracted interest from interstate applicants.

Mr Doman came to Inverell Shire Council in 2018 as Manager Waste and Projects. He has since utilised this skill set across a broad range of Council functions and was instrumental in the delivery of the recently completed Inverell Aquatic Centre.

“I am appreciative for the opportunity and am looking forward to continuing to working closely with Council and the Executive Team to create positive and lasting outcomes for the community,” said Mr Doman.

Mr Doman has been acting in the role of Director Environmental Services since March this year.
