Support local this Christmas with a Seasons of New England hamper

If you’re looking for a Christmas gift that feels genuinely special, Seasons of New England has you covered.

Their beautifully curated hampers, filled with artisan products from across the New England region, are a celebration of local craftsmanship, and this year, they’re making it even easier for city customers to enjoy a slice of regional charm.

Based in Uralla, Seasons of New England brings together the best of local makers and producers, hand-packing hampers that are as thoughtful as they are delicious. Each one is carefully assembled with regional favourites. Think award-winning coffee and honey, handmade jams and relishes, boutique bath and body products, artisan chocolates, small-batch brews, wines and spirits, and homegrown treats. It’s an authentic taste of the New England region.

Owner Tara Toomey says the Christmas season is their busiest and most rewarding time of year.

“Each hamper is a little showcase of our region – handmade, homegrown, and heartfelt,” she said.

“We work with dozens of local producers to create something that truly feels like a gift with meaning.”

This December, Tara and her team will once again load their Pantech truck and hit the road, delivering hundreds of hampers down the New England Highway. Every year, they make the journey from Uralla through Tamworth, Maitland, and right through to Newcastle and Sydney, bringing the warmth of the New England region straight to city doorsteps.

Orders are coordinated to arrive before Christmas, and Tara personally ensures that every delivery is handled with care.

“We work around people’s timelines – if you tell us when you need it, we’ll make sure it gets there,” she said.

“It’s a big job, but we love seeing those hampers arrive right before Christmas. It’s such a great feeling.”

There are hampers with options to suit every taste and budget, with customers welcome to choose items across the Seasons range, including their online bottle shop. Each is beautifully presented, ready to go straight under the tree.

While the physical hampers are the stars of the season, each one also tells a story of the people behind it – the local producers, artists, and small businesses that Seasons of New England was built to support. Buying one is more than just a thoughtful gesture; it’s a way to give back to the community and keep regional creativity thriving.

“It’s a beautiful way to give twice, once to the person you’re gifting, and again to the people who made it possible.”

“When you buy a hamper, you’re helping to sustain local jobs and keep our small towns going,” said Tara.

With the Pantech set to roll out in early to mid-December, Tara encourages everyone to order early to guarantee delivery to Sydney, Newcastle, and along the New England Highway route.

“We can go anywhere along the highway, we can even make stops for bulk orders of up to 40 hampers if people want to team up with friends or workplaces,” she said.

This Christmas, skip the shopping centre chaos and give a gift that’s packed with local flavour, heart, and a personal delivery from the New England to your door.
