Narrabri Shire Council is celebrating the strength and growth of the region’s hospitality sector with the Serving Success: Hospitality Industry Summit 2025, to be held on Thursday, 30 October from 2.00–5.00 pm at The Crossing Theatre.
The event is part of NSW Small Business Month activities being hosted by Council in October and will bring together local hospitality operators with leading industry experts, delivering practical sessions on food safety, sustainability, customer experience, and opportunities within the 24-hour economy.
In recent years, Narrabri Shire has seen record investment by hospitality business owners, with new business openings, upgrades to facilities, and a strong commitment to customer experience and food quality. This growth reflects the vital role the sector plays in the region’s vibrant economy, tourism, and community life.
Mayor Darrell Tiemens said the summit is an opportunity to build on that momentum.
“Hospitality operators and businesses in our Shire are not only increasing in offerings but setting new standards for regional NSW,” said Tiemens.
“This summit is about recognising that success and ensuring our businesses have access to the latest knowledge and resources to keep moving forward.”
Summit highlights include:
- NSW Food Authority – Updates on food safety, compliance, allergen management, and a live cleaning and sanitising demonstration.
- Food Table Consultants – Practical strategies to reduce waste and boost profitability through sustainable practices.
- Maybe Group – Join Steven Payne, Head of Training for the Maybe Group, one of Australia’s most awarded hospitality groups, on creating unforgettable customer experiences.
The Serving Success Hospitality Industry Summit 2025 is free to attend, but spaces are limited.
