RFBI staff member joins DCM Institute 1000 Club

Tracy Howarth.

Tracy Howarth, Retirement Living Village Coordinator at RFBI’s Armidale, Glen Innes, Moonbi and Tamworth Masonic Retirement Villages, has become one of just 150 professionals to reach a major professional development milestone through the DCM Institute’s Village Professionals Development Program.

In 2025, Howarth earned 1,000 points in the program, which supports the advancement of professionals in the retirement living sector. The training covers a wide range of topics, including health and wellbeing, cultural engagement, safety, emotional intelligence and village operations, skills essential to delivering responsive, inclusive and connected community care.

RFBI, which has provided aged care and retirement living services for more than 145 years, said the milestone reflects its broader commitment to staff development and service excellence.

“Tracy’s dedication to her professional development reflects the commitment that drives our organisation forward,” said Karl Bounader, Head of Seniors Living at RFBI.

“Continuous learning and development are essential for both personal and professional growth. By investing in these areas, we strengthen our team and enhance our services, ensuring we adapt and thrive in an ever-changing environment.”

RFBI stated that residents across its New England retirement villages benefit directly from this investment in staff training, resulting in improved communication, day-to-day operations, and a stronger focus on wellbeing and inclusion.
