Uralla Christmas Street Fair returns for a bumper year

Kick of the festive season in Uralla on the 21st of November at their Christmas Street Fair

With the festive season fast approaching, Uralla is getting ready for its annual Christmas Street Fair,
being held on Friday 21 November, from 5 to 9pm. The Uralla Christmas Street Fair is an entirely free event filled with festive experiences for all ages, created by the people of Uralla Shire, as a
showcase of Uralla’s generosity, kindness and community spirit.

There are already 49 confirmed program partners – local businesses, community groups and artists – all working together to activate the streets of Uralla with free Christmas-themed experiences, and an additional 45 shops and market stalls preparing to welcome more than 5,000 people to town for
the event.

Visit Santa’s Toy Workshop and the North Pole Post Office – where you’ll find Merry the Elf who can check if you’re on the naughty or nice list this year. There’ll be gingerbread decorating, readings of The Night Before Christmas, wreath making, and a live nativity play by local children.

Everyone who attends gets a free family Christmas portrait professionally taken in Uralla’s historic Joint Stock Bank, with its spectacular 14-foot Christmas tree as your backdrop.

Meet Santa in the heart of town and take selfies in his giant inflatable sleigh, before ordering a live Christmas tree to be cut and delivered from a nearby farm.

At 6:30pm you’re invited to join Sing-a-long carols in Pioneer Park before a little bit of fairy magic lights up Uralla’s unique spiral Christmas tree for the first time this season.

Complete your night with a free ferris wheel ride for never-before-seen views over Uralla’s village centre, its streets glowing with Christmas lights and alive with festive cheer!
