Celebrating Tamworth’s new musical talent in the Whispers & Roars Festival

A one-day festival of new work by emerging musicians is heading for Tamworth.

Residents are invited to join the celebration of new music by new voices at the Whispers & Roars Festival on Sunday, 19 October. The House that Dan Built has teamed up with E.S. Malaika to mentor young female artists and put on a one-day music festival to showcase the unique musical talent of singer-songwriters from across the region.

The festival features Jhana Allan, Coral Renee, and Kyla-Belle, rising stars of new country music, as well as the fresh voices of Amity-Anne, Kate Partridge, and Taryn Stewart, emerging musicians who have honed their craft under E.S. Malaika’s guidance.

Held at The Conservatorium Chapel, residents can expect to dance the afternoon away, hear amazing new music, and be introduced to their new favourite artists.

This event is brought to you by The House That Dan Built, a not-for-profit, female-focused arts association. The House is an ecosystem that supports female artists to achieve a balance of learning, teaching, and doing so that they can create works of meaning and become the best person they can be.

The Whispers & Roars Festival was created by The House as a space for young and emerging artists to showcase their work, free from judgement, and in a supportive and nurturing environment.

This is an exciting and important event uplifting young and emerging female artists.
