Armidale’s Brooke Moran has excelled an immersive day of training and mentoring with Sydney Premier Cricket club, the Manly Warringah District Cricket Club.

Brooke joined the Manly Warringah Women’s team training session last week, training with the full squad in an outdoor session, as well as a one-on-one training with Manly Warringah, NSW, Sydney Thunder and Australian player, Hannah Darlington.

Hannah and Brooke spent more than an hour in an indoor training session, with Hannah giving tips throughout, including through the use of a video taken of Brooke in action. Hannah also generously spent time sitting down with Brooke, sharing experiences from her cricketing journey as well as tips to Brooke on how she might progress hers.

“Manly Warringah views Brooke as a talented young cricketer with much potential and has invited her to join their Pathways development program.” said Andrew Davis, Waratahs Cricket Club of Armidale.

“We are very grateful to Hannah and the Manly Warringah club for the support given to Brooke, in particular thanks to their Director of Cricket, David Gainsford, for his tremendous support.”

Next stop for Brooke is the School Sports Australia Cricket national cricket championships being held on the NSW central coast, where she will represent NSW in the U/15 Girls championship.
