Tamworth Outdoor Living and Caravan Expo doubles in size for 2025

The local crew at Tow World will be exhibiting at the upcoming Tamworth Outdoor Living and Caravan Expo from June 27th to 29th.

Tamworth’s huge lifestyle event is back and it’s bigger than ever.

The Outdoor Living and Caravan Expo will return to the Australian Equine and Livestock Events Centre (AELEC) from June 27th to 29th, running daily from 9am to 4pm.

And this year, the Tamworth event has doubled in size, bringing even more for caravan and camping enthusiasts.

The expo features leading caravan, camping, and outdoor lifestyle brands alongside a packed education schedule with hands-on workshops. Visitors can learn about torsion hitches, safe loading techniques, lithium battery setups, airbag suspension systems, and GVM upgrades, perfect for both experienced and first-time travellers.

Among the many exhibitors is Tow World, a locally owned business in Tamworth operated by Gayle Black and her husband Troy, which made its expo debut last year.

Tow World co-owner Gayle Black said last year’s show was the perfect opportunity to introduce their new JB caravan line to the market.

“That was our launching pad,” Gayle said.

“We’d only been in business for about six or seven months, and that event gave us the chance to get our name out there.”

Now seasoned exhibitors, Tow World will return this year with even more to offer.

“We’re going back this year with two new brands, the X Series and Sunland,” she said.

“They’re new to us and new to the region, and we’re actually the first dealers for both brands in New South Wales.”

Gayle and Troy said that although they’ve now exhibited in other regions, Tamworth’s show still stands out.

“We’ve just come back from Coffs Harbour,” she said. “We’ve started doing more expos, but this one is special because it’s home. I might be biased, but I think Tamworth’s is the best.”

And the local area has plenty of places to visit for caravanners.

‘If people are out and about in their vans, there are some great spots to stay nearby,” she said.

“Lake Keepit is really popular, especially for families, and Nundle is a favourite, the Nundle Wool Shed gets a lot of travellers through.”

With the expo now double its previous size, Gayle is expecting a strong turnout and plenty of interest.

“It was already big for the region last year, but this year is going to be even better,” she said. “We’ll be bringing seven vans this time which will be a great mix of models for people to walk through and experience up close.”

Whether you’re looking for a new van, some expert advice, or just a day out exploring all things outdoor living, Gayle said the Tamworth Outdoor Living and Caravan Expo is the place to be.

“We love being part of it. It’s a great way to connect with people who love caravanning as much as we do,” she said.
