“Our Future in Farming”: The 41st annual Primex Agricultural Field Day is on this weekend

The Norco Primex Field Days 2025, held from May 15 to 17 at the Richmond Valley Events Centre in Casino, stands as a premier event in Australia’s agricultural calendar. Celebrating its 41st year, Primex continues to be a vital platform for showcasing advancements in sustainable farming and primary industries.

This year’s theme, “Our Future In Farming,” underscores the event’s commitment to innovation and sustainability in agriculture.

With over 1,200 exhibitors and an anticipated attendance of 30,000 visitors, Primex 2025 offers a comprehensive display of the latest technologies, products, and services shaping the future of farming.

Attendees can experience a diverse array of attractions and industry hubs, including Agtech Alley, the Regenerative Agriculture Hub, and the Forestry & Timber Industry Expo. These zones provide insights into cutting-edge practices and facilitate networking among professionals. The event also features extensive livestock displays, machinery demonstrations and working dog trials and sales.

Running alongside Primex is Nourish Food and Drink. The program aims to showcase the region’s local foods and produce and will offer displays and demonstrations from food, brewers, distillers and chefs. Featuring special guest Darren Robinson from Three Blue Ducks, Nourish is an opportunity for farmers and foodies to connect with each other. 

Primex 2025 places a strong emphasis on education and community engagement. The NextGen program offers interactive experiences for students, highlighting career opportunities in agriculture.

Additionally, the event hosts various networking functions, such as the Young Aggies North Coast forum and the Business NSW – North Coast Lunch, fostering connections among industry stakeholders.

For families and general visitors, Primex provides a range of entertainment options, including working dog trials, drone demonstrations, and live music performances. The Dinky Di train offers convenient transportation around the expansive site, ensuring attendees can easily access all areas of the event.

Tickets are available online now at a 30% discount on door prices, with prices set at $20 for a one-day pass and $45 for a three-day pass. Discounted rates are offered for students and pensioners, and children under 12 can attend free of charge.
